And thats where you come in. We are currently hiring a Bakery Clerk with daytime availability.

**More About the Job**

Vinces Market is known for having delicious fresh produce, meats, and cheeses, but until recently we had never put these things together for our customers into ready-to-serve items like sandwiches, soups, and salads. We began experimenting with preparing these items in the back of one of our stores, and our customers loved it and now were expanding the operation big time.

This position will provide approximately 15-35 hours per week, consisting of days, evening and weekend shifts. The hourly pay rate walking in on your first day could be as high as $16-$18 commensurate with experience and guided by our standardized and transparent compensation scale. We also have the opportunity for a terrific benefits program that would kick in three months after youre hired.

**Who Were Looking For**

Many of the best employees at Vinces never imagined theyd be working for a grocery store. The most important skill for this position is the ability to chop, slice, and prepare the foods.

Here's a list of the main things were looking for:

* Fluent in English and legally able to work in Canada

* Ability to do efficient food preparation (chopping, slicing, prepping)

* Willing and able to regularly lift packages up to 40 pounds

* Flexibility with working hours

* An Asset: Experience creating efficiencies (e.g. faster processes, packing, routes, systems, etc)
