Job Title: Fleet Safety & Compliance Manager
Position Purpose:
This position will provide oversight and administration of Home Depot Rentals motor fleet safety & compliance including both Commercial & non-Commercial drivers & vehicles. In partnership with pertinent stakeholders, ensures the safety and compliance strategy is aligned with broader organizational goals. This position may have direct reports.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
25% - Manage Home Depot Rentals compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Administration Safety Administration (FMCSA) Regulations, Department of Transportation (DOT), Canadian Ministry of Transport and Occupational Health and Safety Administration Regulations (OSHA).
25% - Manage vehicle fleet programs & support personnel pertaining to vehicle legalization, taxation, preventative maintenance & inspection, and repair.
20%- Work cross functionally with cross functional team members and third party to ensure proper execution of driver training programs.
15%- Utilize fleet safety KPIs, telematics & video-based safety data in the continuous improvement sustainment, and application of behavior-based safety and driver recognition programs.
15% - Working closely with divisional & regional field stakeholders Manage the vehicular incident review process including performing root causes analysis and prescribing prevention activities and/or corrective action plans.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Education Required:
5. The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a High School Diploma, GED program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Additional Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, and Visio.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology
Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, and Visio.
Associates degree or higher.
Certified Director of Safety (CDS) Certification, Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Designation.
SMITH System or Decision Driving Trainer Certification
2 Years Experience Managing a Fleet Maintenance Program
Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL).

2 years experience with compliance administration
Must possess excellent organizational skills to ensure all work is accurately completed in a timely fashion.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate at all levels is critical.
