WHAT: Attorney (Remote) - Our growing law firm is seeking a family law attorney passionate about representing clients facing one of the most challenging times in their lives.

WHERE: Remote (other than court appearances and client meetings)

• A compassionate, zealous but ethical, tech-forward lawyer who enjoys both litigation (hearings, trials, depositions) and negotiation (settlement and mediation agreements)

• Experienced with managing a workload and prioritizing time-sensitive tasks
• Did we mention tech-savvy?

Responsibilities
• Manage cases from intake through trial
• Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed
• Represent clients in court proceedings as needed
• Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action
• Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process

Qualifications
• 2+ years of Family Law Experience
• Member of the Florida Bar
• Florida resident

• 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position
• Active membership with the ABA (American Bar Association)
• Prior work or studies in criminal justice preferred
• Ability to successfully represent both plaintiff and defendant sides of a case
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
