Learning Specialist

Overview: We are seeking an Adult Learning Specialist to join our team in upgrading a key system. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of the new system by developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for our employees. The ideal candidate will have expertise in adult learning methodologies, instructional design, and documentation to effectively train warehouse associates and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the documentation team to develop comprehensive training materials and tools for employees.
2. Convert existing work instructions into easily understandable training resources for warehouse personnel.
3. Update procedures (approximately 120) to align with the new WMS and ensure compliance with company standards.
4. Develop training processes to effectively onboard new employees and provide material for self-service education for existing staff.
5. Create engaging presentations and demonstrations to convey changes introduced by the new system to employees.
6. Work closely with the Shepherdsville, KY and Somerset, NJ site teams to understand their specific needs and tailor training programs accordingly.
7. Provide guidance on adult learning methodologies and suggest innovative ways for employees to acquire new skills and knowledge.
8. Continuously evaluate and improve training programs based on feedback and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in instructional design and training development.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel to the Shepherdsville site as needed.
