Description The primary purpose of this position is to prepare and serve meals to meet residents' nutritional needs; to assist residents with meal set-up; and to properly sanitize after meal service.
Position Duties
- Possess a high degree of personal cleanliness and hygiene
- Assist in serving of meals and loading of food carts
- Assist in preparation of various desserts, salads, peeling vegetables, etc.
- Assist in washing dishes, pots and pans, while following good cleaning procedures
- Assist in dining area set-up and tray assembly
- Perform cleaning duties in kitchen and dining rooms, on equipment, dishwashing area, etc.
- Deliver food and snack carts to various areas within the building
- Assist with food and supply receiving and storage, as assigned
- Obtain food and supplies from storeroom, as needed
- Able and willing to work all positions with department, excluding cook and management
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Completion of Serve Safe™ program upon entry into this position.
