The

IT Manager

oversees the global IT team as it carries out daily operations as well as projects to address organizational priorities. This role oversees critical functions such as the infrastructure and application management as well as desktop support. The global IT team is responsible for providing a stable and secure operational environment for critical business applications and communications.

Additionally, this team provides end user hardware and application support, asset tracking and new employee onboarding. As the

IT Manager

you will manage, mentor, and provide leadership to IT employees and will be responsible for establishing metrics/KPIs that are used to drive the global team. This role reports directly into the SVP, Infrastructure whom you will work with to monitor IT budgets/spend.

As an IT Manager, you will focus on:

InfrastructureDirect the IT team in engineering, configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrades to LAN/SD-WAN.

Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, and work with team to maintain stable IT infrastructure.

Assist and support the development of standardized workflows, instructions, and standard operating procedures.

Identify, monitor, and communicate project risks and issues to the internal technology teams and consultants.

Serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspect of the organization to provide technical solutions to meet user and business needs.

Have strong technical skills, business intelligence, and a full understanding of the needs of the customer.

System AdministrationFacilitate key business planning processes including strategic planning, operational planning, and budgeting.

Develop and maintain tools and metrics to drive decision making within the business planning process.

Provide analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation.

Partner with development and analytic teams to provide reporting on software solutions.

Desktop SupportEnsure issues and problems are handled in an expedient manager and escalated properly within the IT team.

Maintain desktop support coverage around vacations/sick time etc.

Lead application technical support team in their processes and procedures for end user support.

Researching upgrades and new technologies as it relates to the products and areas supported by Desktop Support.

Requirements for success

(5-7 years) :

7+ years' experience working in IT, REQUIRED

5+ years managerial experience, REQUIRED

Strong working knowledge of ESX Operating Systems, Required

Strong understanding of Microsoft Business Solutions (M365, Hosted Exchange/Sharepoint, and Zoom Phone), Required

Experience working with VeloCloud SD-WAN, Preferred
