Job Title: RN Emergency Job Specialty: FS Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current RN License (State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association Must-Have: Emergency Nursing experience, RN License, BLS (CPR) Certification Job Description: - Provide nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health issues ranging from simple to complex.- Manage an assigned group of patients, ensuring comprehensive care.- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments; track changes in physician orders.- Assist physicians during patient examinations and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.- Monitor patients' physiological data, observe manifestations, and intervene when necessary.- Administer prescribed medications; initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.- Deliver competent patient care and interact with family and patients to communicate care plans during hospital stay and upon discharge.- Inform patients and families about hospital procedures and make referrals to appropriate personnel concerning patient care needs.- Delegate tasks to support staff as required.- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to overall team success.
