If you are looking to take the next step in your career, apply now Responsibilities: • Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines • Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements • Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large • Assist borrowers in selecting loan programs that best fit their financial goals and needs OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES • Procurement of commercial business relationships including solicitation for new loans and deposits • Commercial account management to include review and monitoring of financial statements and other support documentation. Including opening, closing, and maintaining commercial accounts • Provides supervisory support and assistance to the Business Services Specialist • Maintains appropriate records and reports related to commercial loan and deposit operations • Cross-sells credit unions, products, and services as determined by the monthly department manager. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, banking, real estate, or a related field • Provide excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, superior written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional decision-making ability • Understand a variety of loans such as: FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit • 3-5 years of real estate, mortgage origination, or lending experience required • Understanding of loan originator software such as Experian, LendingWise, or Calyx, and Office Suite highly preferred OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: • Proven experience in commercial lending or related financial services roles • In-depth knowledge of lending practices, financial analysis, and risk assessment • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements governing commercial lending • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Commercial Loan Officer) are a plus • Demonstrates an understanding of, and follows the requirements of all regulation compliance, including but not limited to those of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Member Due Diligence (MDD) as it specifically relates to their job functions.
