Pediatric Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist

Parker, United States Amy Black-Ryel Speech Therapy Full time

Amy Black-Ryel Speech Therapy is a small private practice in the South Metro area of Denver. We are a collaborative creative, rewarding, fun pediatric practice with the goal to provide high quality, play-based, family-centered communication and feeding therapy and coaching services to our clients and their families.

We are looking to add an Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist, CFY, or SLP-A to our team. Experience working with pediatrics and a clear understanding of early childhood development and pediatric Speech and Language Disorders is preferred. We need clinicians like you who have a soft spot in their hearts for learners with different abilities and are passionate about making a profound impact on the lives of the clients they serve. We serve a variety of client populations (anywhere from late talkers to children with complex communication needs) and thus our caseloads are diverse and dynamic. We geek out on technology and think that it can be an invaluable tool to help children reach their full communication potential.

This is a job that could be part-time, eventually grow into a more full-time position with opportunities with older children as well. We provide 1:1 Evaluations and Communication Intervention services to the pediatric population including AAC and feeding.

Create intervention activities around the child's IFSP or Evaluation goals and provide families with strategies they can incorporate into their daily routines. Excellent communication with families and other therapists is a must.

We pride ourselves on supporting clinicians with small, private caseloads of one-on-one clients where you only pick up the clients you want. We provide mentorship in assistive technology/AAC (you dont have to be an expert, just passionate about learning + growing).

A flexible, part-time position where you can work a few hours or build a larger caseload. We are big believers in family time and work-life-home balance. Days and times are fairly flexible.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Masters in Speech Language Pathology/CCC's Required

Licensed with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)

If you would like to be considered for this position, please submit your resume and references to Amy Black-Ryel at amy@amyblack-ryelspeechtherapy.com.

Benefits:

Flexible schedule

High level of clinician autonomy and flexibility (we hate micro-managers)

Professional development assistance

Stipend available for Health Insurance

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Education: Master's (Required) for SLP

Work Location: Multiple Locations
