Reporting Analyst

Reporting analyst will be responsible for internal and external reporting of all plant reports and KPIs. Such as month end close, business plan reporting, quarterly forecasting and shared cost center budgeting. The reporting analyst would work closely with shared service cost center owners to ensure that our budgets are on track and identify opportunities for further improvement. In addition, the reporting analyst will manage cycle counting program to ensure inventory accuracy.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
% Time
1. Month end close including cost center reconciliation, accruals, inventory adjustments, variance reporting/analysis and SAP closing execution 25%
2. Internal and external KPI and variance reporting. This includes month end reporting to external stake holders, preparation of monthly reviews for Business Unit management as well as reoccurring internal reports such as output and productivity.25%
3. Tracking of $5m+ shared service budget, which includes monthly meetings with cost center owners to ensure budget adherence and identify opportunity for further improvement

4. Manage cycle count program (inventory counts) to ensure accurate inventory 15%
5. Ad hoc projects including continuous improvement opportunities to create transparency and/or efficiency in our processes 10%
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Required - Accounting/Finance 1-3 years experience
Demonstrates thorough understanding of the PTNA Service Quality behaviors. Uses behaviors on a routine, regular basis while performing job duties.

Knowledge of accounting process and internal controls-Senior
Proficient with personal computer applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint-Senior
Familiar with ERP systems and reporting - able to learn SAP and use independently-Intermediate
Able to work on multiple projects concurrently-Intermediate
Proven interpersonal and written communication skills -Intermediate
