Materials Coordinator (Collisions Focused) - Mesa

Scope:
Handle the following – Receive, unpack, check & verify merchandise/product ensuring accuracy.
As needed take receiving exceptions.
Conduct the following – Stock checks, part # verification, Cycle Count, support physical inventory.
Consolidate loads as required – Pack, Re-Pack, wrap product for shipping.
Label parts during put-away, picking or shipping process.
Pick parts for order fulfillment, shipments, scrap requests, etc.
Ensure orders/shipping materials are accompanied with proper delivery docs: Revised BOL, Manual tag, Packing slip, etc.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures & safety guidelines.
Perform organization tasks to maintain a clean/safe work environment.
Cross train to learn other warehouse functions.
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or stock items & distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
Always maintain accuracy, provide required reports, measurements, and logs to KPI guidelines.
Expertise utilizing a warehouse ERP inventory system, Excel, shipping, receiving, safety management, materials handling, data entry, reporting, etc.
Required:
Experience focused on Automotive Collision parts handling support – Collision estimating/Blue Printing, parts ordering/receiving, collision repair, etc.
Work closely with Tech to support the status of materials for – Collision repairs, placing respective orders, identify blockers/back orders, and help to escalate internally or to suppliers.
Managing the efforts involved in preemptively kitting materials for the body shop to build up assemblies that go on the cars for operational efficiency so managing the inventory will be an aspect as well.
Familiarity with CCC One estimating software is a plus. Reading Estimates and Parts orders. (not used in-house)
Work closely with Collision Center parts manager and shop manager to communicate parts status.
Experience in the automotive industry in some fashion. Examples are Associates in automotive parts specialist, wholesale parts at dealerships, parts to service, body shop work, military, large automobile manufacturers, etc.
Experienced in positions such as – parts advisor, parts specialist, inventory technician, materials handlers, parts coordinator, etc.
Experience with SAP (but not required).
Experience and comfortability working around technicians.
Experience and ability working with pallet jacks, Forklifts experience a plus, training available.
Experience with basic supply chain skills.
Experience working with spreadsheets and tables.
Willing to put in extra work during down times by organizing the shop, stacking tires, adhoc inventory counts, picking up deliveries, etc.
Must be comfortable working as a team and self-motivated.
Flexible to work on holidays.
Valid driver’s license for driving box truck to Collision center.
Must be comfortable lifting 50 pounds.
