**Overview**

**This is a remote position. Only candidates in these states will be considered for hire: AZ, CA, CO, FL, IL, IN, KY, MI, ND, NE, OH, SC, TN, TX, WA, and WI.**

The Supervisor, Client Registration, contributes to the organizational success of providing high quality care by effectively leading and managing the office functions for assigned locations supporting patients, caregivers and employees. Provides expertise to optimize and direct the accurate and timely completion of registration, insurance eligibility and verification. Responsible for ensuring assigned areas of office operations are performed timely and accurately. This position assumes overall responsibility for supervising client registration staff: entering new referrals, clearly assigning tasks and communicating decisions, setting clear objectives and measures, and for monitoring and reporting on process, progress, and results. Assists with orientation for new employees.

**Responsibilities**

1. 2. Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Program, including confidentiality of HIPAA protected health information. Maintains confidentiality of patient information.

3. Works independently and with limited direct supervision using organizational guidelines, policies and procedures; good judgment; and supports and promotes department, branch, and organization

decisions.

4. Functions as an effective team member and contributes to the development and achievement of location and organizational goals and objectives.

5. Is promptly and professionally available to assist back office staff. Works with branch leadership as needed for efficient operations.

6. Demonstrates the ability to be efficient and productive by organizing job duties and responsibilities.

7. All other duties as assigned.

Revenue Cycle Management Operations

8. Serves as liaison with corporate Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialists in the coordination of candidate interviews and new hire onboarding, including centralized or remote

orientation for divisional consolidated team members.

9. Assures all insurance verification tasks are completed timely and accurately; maintains knowledge of contractual and regulatory requirements for individual payers; monitors workflow to ensure requests are submitted within time limits, and followed up on when necessary, within program statutes.

10. Troubleshoots the electronic process for documentation and record keeping to ensure smooth operations.

11. Creates and maintains current employee employment file information. Develops and maintains accurate and complete files on all employees with assistance from the HR Designee. Communicates

with management as needed for follow up in obtaining required documentation.

12. Acts as a lead in retention efforts within the consolidated team as designated and assists in training new personnel as requested by Regional Manager, Revenue Cycle Management.

13. Responsible for monitoring and evaluating measures of performance for consolidated team members. Develops and implements action plans based upon measurement results.

14. Responsible for accurate, complete and timely communication of regulatory, operational and financial information to consolidated team members.

15. Ensures direct reports have necessary mobile devices, equipment, software, etc...needed to perform day to day activities; responsible for ordering and replacing as needed. Troubleshoots mobile device software and hardware issues.

16. Maintains knowledge and stays abreast of reimbursement requirements for all payers, as well as payor and health care industry trends through membership in related associations or internet

listserves, and through business-related publications and affiliations. Keeps staff informed of any payment, authorization, coding, denial or submission criteria on assigned payors.

17. Provides customer service to branch personnel, serving as a liaison to branch leadership for Insurance related concerns

18. Cooperates with other revenue cycle leadership to develop best practice processes across the continuum of revenue cycle functions.

19. All other duties as assigned.

Managing Direct Reports

20. Works closely with Regional Manager and corporate HR in employment matters.

21. Creates an expectation of excellence and manages performance of direct reports to maximize the value of employees contributions towards organizational success.

22. Ensures appropriate staffing levels are maintained. Recruits and retains qualified, productive and customer-focused employees, by interviewing, hiring and orienting direct reports within established budget.

23. Encourages and creates opportunities for continuous improvement of staff by providing frequent coaching, mentoring, and accurate performance feedback by providing direction and support to staff to deliver quality services with a focus on organizational success. Maintains positive staff morale, observable through team spirit, a sense of belonging and recognition of accomplishments and

provides fair and equitable treatment of all employees.

24. Creates a high performing work environment characterized by transparent and open communication, mutual trust and respect.

25. Provides education and training for employees in support of career goals and the organizations mission and strategies.

26. Oversees and assists in the completion of the weekly payroll process (Kronos) for direct reports.

**Qualifications**

Required Education: Associates degree. In lieu of an Associates degree, an additional

three years related experience will be considered.

Required Minimum Experience: Five years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting required.

Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent organizational, time management and administrative skills,

including the ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands

**Pay Range**

$22.91 - $31.50 /hour
