Participate in teaching opportunities with medical students and residents, if desired. Experience in reading CTA and/or MRIis preferred, but not required.
Position Highlights:
Full-Time; Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm(including clinical hours and a few hours per week for admin time)
20% inpatient and 80% outpatient performing the following procedures: non-invasive, transesophageal echocardiogram, transthoracic echocardiogram, nuclear cardiology interpretation, vascular ultrasound interpretation (optional) and cardiac MRI (optional)
Patient volume includes: 16/day in office & 15-18/day in hospital
Weekday call; 1:6and Weekend call is 1:5
Clinical outpatient (only) outreach to other location(s) 1 day per week
Qualifications
:
Fellowship training in Cardiology, required
Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
Visa sponsorship available; H-1B and J1 (2025)

The new
IU Health Bloomington Hospital
and Regional Academic Health Center opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.
At the same time, the facility strengthens healthcare education by providing space for collaboration and coordination of care and teaching. Students and trainees frequently come to the hospital side of the facility for clinical experiences.
