We empower people with developmental disabilities through vocational, educational, recreational, and residential programs to live their best lives. Orchard Village is seeking a full-time Vocational Specialist to join our teamVocational Specialist Responsibilities:Manage a caseload and provide individualized person-centered support in the following vocational areas:Pre-vocational support, career counseling, job search techniques, interviewing skill developmentJob development and job placement in the communityJob retention and job coaching servicesJob accommodation recommendations and referralsCommunity resource coordination.Vocational Specialist Qualifications:Bachelors degree in rehabilitation counseling, psychology, social work or related field desiredTwo years working in vocational/residential with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
