Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for manufacturing, technical knowledge, customer communication, and management of project completion for various projects. Your expertise in instrumentation and mechanical knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Works as customer interface to manage instrumentation projects, primarily related to aerothermal rakes and probes, sensor application/calibration, and other instrumentation related projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements and specifications, including phases of manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
  • Conduct analysis to identify potential issues and propose solutions
  • Manages the preparation of engineering drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Select appropriate sensors, transducers, and other components for instrumentation systems
  • Develops the manufacturing/assembly/test flow for each project as required. Identifies risks and develops mitigation plans.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions in instrumentation systems
  • Establishes and maintains a project report including schedule and cost for all projects to keep upper management and customers updated.
  • Works with appropriate internal parties to formulate quotations for projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Proven experience in instrumentation applications within gas turbine and aerospace industries, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in mechanical knowledge related to instrumentation systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in project management
