In addition, New Horizons assists 22,000 students in area schools, and we work closely with the courts, law enforcement, jails, and hospitals to help improve the health of individuals and the quality of life in our community.We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual to provide treatment and service coordination for clients in our Adult and Children's Inpatient Units.We are hiring for BOTH Adult and Children Units. Full-Time PositionAs a Master's Level, Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide individual, family and group therapy and assessments, as well as coordinate effective discharge and follow-up care.As a Master's Level Mental Health Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:Conducts psychosocial evaluations for new and existing clientsDevelops and maintains a written treatment plan for each clientConducts individual and multi-client therapy activitiesLeads and participates with team members in appropriate treatment interventionsConducts education, lecture and group discussions with clients and family membersCoordinates written assignments and individual gal setting activities with clientsCoordinates and participates in weekly treatment team meetingsEnsures that appropriate discharge planning and aftercare services are provided for assigned clientsPrepares written documentation for each service conductedPerforms other duties as assignedNow under new management, New Horizons offers competitive pay, amazing benefits, and comprehensive training.Health Insurance (covers mental health)Dental InsuranceVision InsuranceDisability Insurance (STD; LTD)Paid Time OffPaid HolidaysPaid Sick LeavePaid TrainingEmployee Assistance ProgramLife InsuranceRetirement plan (403b) RequirementsNew Horizons will need you to have the following qualifications:Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling is requiredTwo (2) years' experience working with Adults/ children/adolescentsMust be able to apply therapeutic effective aggression management techniques without limitations
