JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing cash service needs of the guest, while ensuring the accuracy of documentation and cash/chip flow for designated banks.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure customer satisfaction, casino play, and return visits by providing prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
- Service guest needs accordingly - providing change, cashing tickets, etc.
- Accurately verify and exchange chips, slot tickets, and cash with guests and employees.
- Verify slot tickets on the computer data system.
- Assist guests with credit card transactions.
- Verify all funds received from or given to the vault.
- Verify jackpot wins and process as outlined.
- Flexible to adapt to operation changes, schedules, job assignments, procedures, etc.
- Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc. at all times.
- Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to the supervisor.
- Ensure that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
- Participate and attend designated meetings, training, and activities as directed.
- Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
- Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or cage manager.

- Designated Cage form.
- Keys to Cage Cashier drawer.
- Key Log and key distribution to authorized users.
- Request for fills and credits.
- Slot paper inventory and issue.
- Cage.
- Minimum six (6) months of cashier experience, preferably with a guest service focus.
- Detail-oriented and good with numbers and money.
- Stand for long periods in a smoke-filled, noisy environment; perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers and lift and maneuver up to 25 lbs.
- Effective communication skills - verbally provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
- Exhibits a professional, positive demeanor and appearance.
- Requires a High-Security Gaming License clearance.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- One (1) year of cashier experience in a casino environment.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Prefer 10 key ability.
