Growing together. We are seeking a Floating Staff Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. This full-time position will travel to our 7 sites in the state as a floating pharmacist. You will work 40 hours a week between Monday and Friday from 8:00-5:00. Our sites are located in Davenport, Marshalltown, Mason City, Fort Dodge, Ottumwa, and Sioux City (2). You would receive the following: .65 cents/mile Up to a 10% RRP Bonus Vision, Dental, and Healthcare 23 days of PTO with 9 paid holidays 401k Match Primary Responsibilities: Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners Provides information to customers about medications and their use Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD? Current pharmacist license in state of Iowa Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire Certified CPR LAI Administration or willing to obtain Valid Driver's License and Car Insurance Ability to travel the state of Iowa Monday - Friday Preferred Qualifications: Mental or Behavioral health experience At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
