HIM Specialist

Title- HIM Specialist

Retrieves discharged patient records from all units reconciling them using discharge and outpatient registration census reports. Maintains timely scanning/indexing of all records and documents to ensure compliance with turnaround times. Delivers records to units for physician completion as requested. Completes documentation of work performance daily. Performs chart analysis on records scanned for accuracy. High school diploma or equivalent required. Hours will be 10-6:30pm. Occasional weekend coverage.
