At our facility in Aiken, SC, we are looking for a

Maintenance Planner

United States - Aiken

Responsibilities will include:

* Managing inventory based on demand and cost targets * Strive to avoid the costs of carrying excessive inventory * Performing administrative duties in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SRM/SAP) for ordering and receipts of goods * Spare Parts / MRO order tracking * Managing the site's spare parts inventory, including weekly monitoring of inventory * Maintain inventory stock at a level that enables maintenance department to complete work without delay * Preparing maintenance spare part tracking data as required * Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the maintenance spare parts program * Directly Supervising Tool Crib staff within the organizations' policies and applicable laws

The qualified candidate will have:

* Associate's degree required in a technical field and/or 3 - 5 years' experience as a maintenance inventory or maintenance technical experience, or equivalent combination of both * Supervisory skills with a minimum of 2 - 3 years experience. Skill should include appraising performance; recommends rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. * Experience in an industrial environment preferred * Electrical/mechanical aptitude preferred * Familiarity with computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP preferred) * Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
