Kinetic Table Utility Support

In this Production support role, you will be responsible for cleaning, labeling, storage of steel parts and materials for the production and manufacturing process. You will perform many tasks with steel parts and materials that are fabricated from our Plasma Table, Kinetic Table, and Press Brakes including but not limited to: cleaning, inspecting, storing, labeling, and issuing.

Requirements

- Perform a variety of functions for the manufacturing team including safe and efficient movement of steel and parts.

- Clean steel parts that are produced from cut tables with grinders.

- Prepare kits of steel parts for the production process. This will include labeling, inspecting, storing parts.

- Identify and communicate shortages / discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.

- Identify and maintain proper job sheets, travelers, blueprints, and other paperwork associated with parts.

- Assist with operating any and all machines as needed (Plasma Table, Kinetic Table, and Press Brake)

- Operate Forklift to move steel sheets, parts and materials or reorganize storage.

- Load, unload steel from tables and move material per the direction of the Team Leads.

- Assist with performing Preventative maintenance on machines.

- Complete all necessary workplace inspections.

- Maintain all work areas, you perform tasks within, in a clean and orderly manner.

- Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principals of safety for self and others into daily activities.

- Fill in as needed / Perform other duties as assigned (help other production workers as required, instructed, or requested)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum prerequisite education, training, and/or experience required:

o Adequate training and experience

o High School Diploma

o Must be 18 Years or Older

- Job Specific Capabilities:

o Ability to operate material handling equipment, including mechanical equipment

o Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective equipment and clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)

o Organizational Skill and attention to detail

o Communication - Ability to read, write and speak English. Must be able to articulate ideas and plans and communicate these accurately and effectively to others.

- Physical Capabilities:

o Equipment Used: variety of powered industrialized equipment- multiple classifications of equipment. Overhead cranes

o Movement: Constant movement includes: walking, standing; Frequent Movement includes: climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching/squatting

o Lift and or Carry: 50Lbs Frequently, over 20lbs constantly, Over 100lbs occasionally with assistance.

o Sensory: Hearing, Speech, Vision, Smell, Tactile
