**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. **Delivery**

* Follows procedural inventory guidelines maintaining an accurate inventory in the truck and depot.

* Loads truck accurately and efficiently for deliveries.

* Abides by start of day times, as out lined by the District Manager, to ensure receiving times are met and deliveries are completed.

* Represents the company in a positive manner when dealing with receivers, frozen managers, owners, customers, etc.

* Invoices all customers accurately and completes daily paperwork as required.

* Delivers and merchandises product at assigned accounts defined by the District Manager.

* Follows all policies and procedures.

2. **D.O.T**

* Utilizes safe work practices as described in the Fleet Safety Handbook.

* Understands and complies with applicable federal, local and state regulations.

* Adheres to company rules and regulations and follows all accident and injury reporting procedures.

* Fully understands how to operate and safely drive the assigned delivery vehicle. Always drives in a safe and courteous manner and practices defensive driving techniques.

* Ensures vehicle cleanliness and adheres to the preventative maintenance schedule, including vehicle service and repair guidelines.

* Performs thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Records inspections on the in-cab device or on a paper DVIR in the event of a device malfunction.

* Practices proper cargo securement techniques using approved securement devices.

* Ensures the accuracy of and certifies hours of service on the in-cab ELD. Edits and notates discrepancies or inaccuracies as soon as alerted. Follows reporting procedures and uses paper driver logs in case of a malfunction.

* Completes and submits accurate driver paperwork on time (trip reports, fuel purchases, etc.).

* Responds to warehouse/freezer temperature monitoring alerts.
