Description

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of our Windows-based network infrastructure spanning multiple locations across several states. This role requires a deep understanding of Windows environments, network protocols, security best practices, and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Azure, InTune, SMB Signing, PAM solutions, IAM solutions, DMARC and SPF, Certificates, Root Certificate Authorities, and MFA tools. Job Tasks: Design, implement, and maintain Windows-based network infrastructure across multiple locations and states. Redesign domain controller functions and share drives to optimize performance and security. Implement and manage DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Azure, InTune, SMB Signing, PAM solutions, IAM solutions, DMARC and SPF, Certificates, Root Certificate Authorities, and MFA tools. Develop and maintain server documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal network operation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and improve existing systems. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members. Evaluate proposed or existing system architectures for improvements and cyber exploitation vulnerabilities Physically install equipment including servers, routers, switches, and other infrastructure as needed

Required Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory. Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP and SMB. Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure. Familiarity with security best practices and tools, including PAM solutions, IAM solutions, DMARC and SPF, certificates, Root Certificate Authorities, and MFA tools. Proficiency in network architecture and design principles. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Experience in Troubleshooting System Issues: Proven experience diagnosing and resolving complex system issues in a Windows environment. Experience troubleshooting network connectivity, performance, and security issues. Ability to analyze system logs, performance metrics, and other diagnostic data to identify root causes of problems. Experience implementing and managing monitoring and alerting systems.

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN KENDALL'S MERIDIAN, IDAHO, OFFICE AND IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION.

A valid driver license and good driving record is required.

Travel Required: 25% or more of the time.
