Description Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Collections to lead our team. The VP of Collections will be responsible for managing a team of over 20 employees, overseeing their job performance in alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This key role will focus on implementing process improvements, developing comprehensive collections strategies, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include: Manage a team of collections specialists and analyze their performance against established KPIs. Develop and implement innovative collections strategies that align with our company goals. Facilitate continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the Collections department. Collaborate with other top executives to establish best practices concerning mortgage, auto, and unsecured loans collection. Ensure adherence to relevant laws and corporate policies to mitigate risk. Provide consistent, constructive feedback and coaching to inspire high team performance and employee engagement. Requirements Minimum of five years of experience in a banking or financial services environment Demonstrated knowledge of Banking & Brokerage and Banking & Finance Law Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Cash Activity and Collections - Consumer Expertise in Collections management and Banking compliance Understanding of Banking Credit Analysis and Banking Industry Experience with Auto Loans, Auto Liability, and Asset Liability Management Proven track record in Collections Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field is preferred Ability to interpret and analyze financial data Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and handle high-pressure situations Ability to develop and implement strategies to maximize collections.
