WORK EXPERIENCE: 10 years in Civil Design EDUCATION: B.S. in Civil Engineering REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Active Professional Engineering (PE) Registration SKILLS and ABILITIES:Design experience for commercial building sites, land development (including water, sewer, and natural gas), residential subdivisions, municipal projects, transportation and highway, aviation, school sites, industrial sites, utilities and drainageProficient in MicroStation/In Roads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Carlson Familiar with Alabama Department of Transportation design standards and requirementsAbility to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environmentExcellent time management skills with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrate ability to take initiative and operate with a sense of urgencyExcellent project management skillsExcellent leadership and management skillsStrong technical writing skillsSuperior communication skillsProficient use of Microsoft Office programs SOME DUTIES:Provide direction to team regarding project execution and site designsReview required documents and provide direction and feedback to teamDevelop and maintain excellent professional relationships with current and potential clientsCommunicate regularly with clients and provide project status updatesMonitor project work scopes, schedules, and budgetsOversee completion of designs, production and review of design documentsUtilize excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to recommend solutionsMaintain knowledge of city, county, and state project requirementsLead, mentor and develop teamDuties may change and associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned BENEFITS:Competitive Salary based on experienceBCBS Health InsuranceMatched 401(k)Group Benefits Package - Dental, Life, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability InsuranceGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO
