Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Processing Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The Processing Engineer will play a key role in optimizing and improving our production processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and driving efficiency across the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve product quality, reduce costs, and increase overall efficiency.
  • Conduct process design, development, and validation activities for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality Assurance, and Research & Development, to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze production data and implement statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor and improve process capability.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform root cause analysis for process failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Provide training and guidance to production operators and technicians on new processes and equipment.
  • Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5- years plus of experience in manufacturing engineering or process engineering roles within the industry facility.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Proficiency in process simulation, modeling, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Minitab, etc.).
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing operations.
Qualification
  • Walking and standing for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting of up to 65 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching.
  • Repetitive arm and upper body action and movement.
  • Exposure to dust, frequent loud noise, varying temperatures in the plant.
  • Occasionally climbing stairs.
