Summary
Arcadis has an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Energy Conservation Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, the Energy Conservation Engineer is responsible for the planning around Energy Conservation and the preparation of a scope of work packages. Ideal candidates will have a background in preparation of mechanical and electrical tender scope of works packages in energy assessment.
Proven success working for an A/E or EPCM company in a similar role, supporting projects related to cleanrooms, laboratories, semiconductor fab, data center, solar manufacturing, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries is highly desirable.
This is not a remote position and will require the selected individual to live local and in commutable distance to the client site in Hillsboro, OR. Relocation within the United States may be available for selected candidate.
Responsibilities
  • Developing Energy Roadmap and future project planning by targeting projects with reliability operations/capacity gains.
  • Technical and constructability input to cost improvement proposals and challenges.
  • Project Manage the assessments and implementation of the Energy Conservation projects, including reviewing project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Input to energy usage, cost forecasting, and participate in energy design reviews.
  • Illustrated attention to Quality throughout, including monitoring installation and performance.
  • Provide weekly reports on the Energy Team Progress.
  • Interfacing with project teams, technical support groups and other work groups
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with 5+ years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MEP background in energy management and business management experience preferred. LEED AP certification preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with construction, start up and turnover of upgrades and assessment of facilities mechanical systems required.
  • Software Skills should include Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Video Conferencing Software, along with other applicable project management software applications. Experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and possess excellent written and communication skills, be well organized, engaged, flexible and self-motivated.
  • Highly skilled in coaching and creating a positive open and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement, value for money, adaptability, technical quality, and professional standards while simultaneously developing the future vision of the business.
  • Local candidates required. Relocation assistance available as needed for selected individual.
  • Ability to provide valid work authorization for US employment required.
