We are seeking a Warranty Clerk to review and submit claims, process claims efficiently and ensure compliance. You will also communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and warranty administrators to resolve issues and expedite claim processing and maintain accurate records of warranty transactions, as well as assist service advisors and technicians with warranty-related inquiries, providing guidance and support as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies.
  • Review warranty repair orders for completeness and accuracy, verifying warranty coverage and required documentation.
  • Submit warranty claims to the manufacturer or warranty administrator in a timely manner, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor the status of warranty claims and follow up as needed to ensure timely resolution and reimbursement.
  • Maintain accurate records of warranty transactions, including claim submissions, approvals, denials, and payments.
  • Assist service advisors and technicians with warranty-related inquiries, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and warranty administrators to resolve issues and expedite claim processing.
  • Stay informed about warranty policies, procedures, and updates to ensure compliance and maximize reimbursement opportunities.
  • Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data security protocols.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in automotive warranty administration or related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing warranty claims and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using computerized warranty systems and software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
