Senior Maintenance Technician III Grundfos is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician III. The Senior Maintenance Technician will be responsible for supporting and guiding the activities of the Maintenance and Facilities department. This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager and will operate fully onsite out of our Brookshire, TX facility on a first shift position. Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa). Your main responsibilities: Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot & resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and liaise with third party suppliers on purchasing or repair jobs when required. Involve self in new assembly projects, engineering works and set up new production equipment. Focus on continuous improvement of factory workflow in terms of automation of processes and stay involved in cost reduction projects. Electrical work consisting of low voltage work, minor repairs and replacements. Implement preventive maintenance schedule of all equipment and assembly lines together with various line leaders. Maintenance of production equipment and testing facilities, as well as troubleshooting system if applicable. Ability to work on machines and minimize shutdown of work. Participate in all facilities projects related to painting, daily maintenance and mechanical issues. Adhere to all safety and quality lean initiatives. Perform the job in a way that meets all applicable laws, regulations and EHS requirements. Your background: A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in facility and machine maintenance for manufacturing industry. Knowledge of Good Engineering Practices and understanding of maintenance programs and requirements. Knowledge and understanding of factory mutual requirements, operational support and capacity management is an added advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Prior electrical voltage working experience is a must. Ability to utilize all hand tools as well as operate a forklift. Proficient in understanding geometric dimensions and tolerances.
