Job Overview: The Director of Field Finance, stationed in Virginia Beach, VA, is pivotal within our client's organization, a leader in foundation and water management solutions. This role directly supports the VP of FP&A, engaging deeply in strategic finance to bolster the company's objectives and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders, offering financial insights to guide operational changes.
  • Analyze financial data, including P&L statements and reports, to uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Develop and implement financial models for precise budgeting and forecasting.
  • Lead the annual budget process, focusing on growth, cost management, and investment planning.
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly financial reviews, facilitating discussions with business units and CFO.
  • Establish processes for continuous analysis of financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
  • Proactively identify financial challenges, offering scalable solutions to business units.
  • Execute scenario planning to evaluate financial outcomes of strategic decisions.
Requirements Include:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least seven years in FP&A or financial operations, with a strong understanding of P&L management.
  • Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and presentation.
  • Certifications: N/A
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial principles and tools like Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Vena, and Power BI.
  • Key Competencies: Strategic thinking, leadership, excellent communication, and ability to influence at all organizational levels.
Additional Information: This position requires on-site presence at the corporate office in Virginia Beach, VA. It offers the chance to impact both strategic and operational finance initiatives, working within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
