Join the Rayco Exteriors Team: Seeking Skilled Carpenters/Tradesmen for High-Quality Construction Projects in San DiegoJob Title: Carpenter / TradesmanCompany Name: Rayco Exteriors Location: San Diego, CaliforniaSalary: $20/hr - $32/hr+ per year depending on experienceFull Job DescriptionAs a Carpenter/Tradesman at Rayco Exteriors, you will be responsible for performing a variety of construction tasks, including carpentry, masonry/stucco repair, waterproofing, and painting. You will work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and the Director of Operations to deliver high-quality repairs and installations across multi-family dwelling reconstruction projects. We take pride in using the best products and always strive to exceed expectations.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Arrive on-site and ready to work by 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime as job requirements demand.Perform repairs and installations efficiently, cost-effectively, and with a high standard of quality.Source and purchase materials needed for specific repairs and projects.Document repairs and provide job status updates to supervisors through photo and written reports.Monitor job site safety, security, and cleanliness daily.Communicate with the Project Superintendent/Manager about any scope changes, issues, or emergencies.Provide your own tools and reliable transportation.Required Skills and Experience:5-7 years of hands-on experience in general construction, particularly in multi-family reconstruction.Expertise in carpentry and a strong understanding of construction trades, safety standards, and best practices.Proven experience with carpentry techniques, materials, and installation methods.Proficiency with electrical and manual tools, including saws, hammers, and measurement tools.Ability to read, interpret, and work from architectural and engineered drawings and other technical documents.Good math skills for precise measurements and calculations.Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.Professional, approachable, and friendly demeanor with clients and colleagues.Ability to adapt and multitask based on project needs, with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are required.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of construction experience preferred, with at least 2 years in carpentry.Valid driver's license required.Must be able to commute to job sites throughout San Diego County, CA.Benefits:CompensationWe provide a competitive compensation and benefits package to all employees.
