Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Asphalt Project Manager to join the team of one of our clients in Thornton, IL. The Senior Asphalt Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of asphalt projects from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing asphalt projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of asphalt projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project objectives are met.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in asphalt construction, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing asphalt projects from start to finish.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of asphalt construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
