3 Month Contract (Outside IR35) Teesside Site based, 6 day working week This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large UK Energy project An experienced QC Welding Inspector is required to work on a large Energy Transition project based in Teesside on an initial 3 month contract basis. Ideally you have experience with offshore related projects and hold a relevant Welding qualification such as CSWIP. Responsibilities Execute inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site. Follow specified procedures, issue Quality Records and write non-conformances reports for the Quality Control Supervisor. Verify welding parameters and consumables during operations, the availability of welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and welders qualifications. Check availability and suitability of welding equipment consumables, pre?heating, welding, heat treatment, bevels, extent of repairs made by welders (taking corrective action as required), and heat treatment record diagrams. Collect and manage documents certifying test, controls and inspection records. Ensure civil works and testing records are properly retrievable within the final As?Built dossier. In case of subcontractor activities, ensure correct implementation of approved QC/Inspection Test Plans, witness inspections and collect relevant Quality Control records. Ensure conformity with the Quality Control Plan and obtain the relevant documentation. Experience 5 years as Welding QC Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry or similar. Certifications: CSWIP 3.1, AWS or equivalent. Technical skills: Quality Control inspection. IT skills: MS365. #J-18808-Ljbffr
