If selected, you will: + Report directly to the Electronics and Electrical Section Manager as part of group of 50 + Other Electronics and Electrical Engineers + Provide Electrical, Electronic and Electromagnetic (EEE) parts support to the NASA xEVA Space Projects + Evaluate proposed EEE Parts lists with respect to the projects specific hardware criticality and environments + Report on the manufacturers, materials, construction, usage (environment & electrical de-rating), and overall reliability of the selected parts to the EEE parts control board (PCB) + Recommend replacement EEE parts + Assist in EEE parts failure investigations + Review Military and industry EEE parts specifications, standards and studies for application to NASA programs + Assist in the development of EEE part qualification plans, project specific screening requirements, and Non-Standard Part Approval Requests (NSPAR) + Work in a laboratory environment as required, following standard operating procedures + Perform other duties as required and assigned **Here’s what you’ll need** : **Requisition Qualifications:** _This position has been posted at multiple levels.
