Job Description: Responsible for managing and planning BOS audit process-IATF quality management system processes. Supervision of Lab and Lab Technicians. The coordinator works with all departments to maintain quality and a safe and healthy workplace by identifying and removing potential workplace hazards, prevention of workplace accidents and injuries, and enhancing the quality of work life at Adient. Specific Duties: The Quality BOS/ Lab Coordinator supervises and leads activities in the lab. The Quality BOS/ Lab Coordinator will be involved in problem-solving activities with regards to non-conformities found during the audit process. Populating document actions in appropriate format and use of software as appropriate. The Quality BOS/ Lab Coordinator assists in the development and maintenance of procedures/instructions. Assist in training for any new or revised procedures/instructions if needed. Work with Quality Manager to complete and maintain IATF and BOS audit processes, as applicable, including LPA. Assist in driving corrective actions as needed in response to non-conformances. Promote and understand customer-specific requirements (CSR) and standards. Communicate requirements/standards to the Quality/Production team as needed. Monitor and release the latest test standards as released through the system – control internally and distribute for sign-off by the Quality team as appropriate. Complete/coordinate customer physical property validation testing (Annual & PPAP) with internal, independent, and Adient corporate labs. Monitor and perform calibrations as appropriate. Coordinate when gauges need to go out for calibration or if outside testing services need to come into the plant. Reports to: Quality Manager Education: HS diploma or equivalent Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred. A post-secondary technical/quality diploma or degree is an asset. Training or experience in QMS, IATF, Statistical Process Control, and automotive systems is an asset. A Quality Certificate from a local college, and a certificate from ASQ (CQT, CQE, CQA). AIAG auditor training and certification. Formal Problem-Solving training. Experience Required: Three years manufacturing industry-related experience. Knowledge of computers.
