**Job Description**

**New Hire Bonus up to $1,000**

As a **Grill Cook**, you will perform culinary job duties and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area/environment at all times. To ensure our guests receive the highest standards of quality of food taste and presentation Assist lead grill cook and managers in the day-to-day operations.

* Prepare food according to specs and stock and keep the kitchen and all areas clean

* Assure that the food area is kept clean and food is stored properly at the end of each shift according to health specifications

* Ensure that food items are ticketed and dated with employee name to ensure freshness and that stocked items are received and accounted for

* Assist in all areas of the grill

* Wash all work areas including refrigerator and utensils used and keep trash and boxes broken down and remove to the proper area

* Assure all food is rotated and labeled with the date, time, and employee name

* Stock all foods in cooler and proper shelves to meet department of health regulations

* Record and report all lost food due to spoiling and overproduction

* Assist in stewarding duties: washing pots, pans, kitchen utensils, serving bowls, serving dishes, and kitchen equipment

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen working area and environment

* Help conduct inventory when necessary, especially on high-cost items

**Qualifications**

A team-first attitude

* 1+years previous culinary experience to include grill and cold prep

* High school diploma or equivalent

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

* 2 + years previous culinary experience to include grill and cold prep

* Current food safety certification
