Job Description This position can be based out of locations in the Denver, Colorado area; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Durango, Colorado, Cary, North Carolina; or remote subject to bank review and approval. This position will support commercial lending in Colorado and North Carolina.
Analyze commercial loan requests to include:
Spreading business and personal financial statements and tax returns
Analyze strengths and weaknesses identified through spreads for trends and areas of concern
Prepare/present charts and graphs as necessary
Ability to create and use equations in Excel strongly preferred
Accuracy in data entry for spreading financial statements a requirement
Prepare written credit analysis (write-ups) based on the above analysis
Suggest/assist with loan structure based on analysis
Prepare annual reviews of commercial loans
Monitor credit files and provide periodic analysis for documentation such as financial statements
Prepare administrative reports as requested
Assist commercial lending staff as needed
Ability to work independently including prioritization of tasks and communication of needs and time availability (request for assistance when necessary)
Other duties as assigned
NOTE - this is NOT a residential or consumer mortgage underwriting position although the occasional large residential construction loan request may require assistance in analysis.

This position starts at $75,000 per year and can increase from there depending on experience.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or other related field STRONGLY preferred; sufficient experience may be substituted at Central Bank's discretion
Previous commercial loan credit analysis (C I and commercial real estate including construction lending) experience REQUIRED
At least 2 years of banking experience in commercial lending, underwriting and/or client management
Proficient in MS Word and Excel; familiarity with spreading programs (eg: Moody's, Bukers, Sageworks or others) STRONGLY preferred
Strong analytical skills - ability to identify and answer "why?" issues in credit underwriting
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
