As a Child Psychiatrist for Swope Health's Behavioral Health Department, you will be apart of a team of caregivers who provide care and support for those who need it the most. Our Psychiatrist provides comprehensive psychiatric services for primarily children, and Adult patients of Swope Health. You will use a variety of methods to evaluate and treat patients. This includes; interviewing the patient, their family or other persons. Developing treatment plans according to patient's needs and extent of emotional, social, cognitive, developmental or behavioral disorder. If you have a passion for improving the lives of others, this is the role for you.Primary Responsibilities: Provides limited and/or comprehensive psychiatric assessment and management for Children and Adults.Establishes and monitors system for psychiatric approval of diagnosis/problem lists, case management plans and staff review of client progress. Establishes criteria for required psychiatric evaluations and monitors performance against those criteria.Establishes and maintains consultation and referral system with physicians and the other providers in the Center and in the community.Will perform duties Tele Psychiatric services and face-to-face.Participates in activities of community services program as needed.Primary responsibility for inpatient services with assistance of the designated inpatient manager.Prepares necessary reports.Member of the Professional Standards and Practices Committee.Must complete Patient Safety Training curriculum.Performs other duties as assigned.Daytime hours are negotiable. No weekends. PT Only.
