BRUDIS & ASSOCIATES, INC. (BAI) is a multidiscipline engineering firm providing consulting services to public and private sector clients in the Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia region. Since 1992, BAI has provided comprehensive, innovative, and effective solutions to our clients' transportation, stormwater, and infrastructure needs.

Brudis & Associates, Inc. (BAI) is seeking Construction Inspectors to work in Harford County, MD on CIP projects that include roadways, small bridges, stream restorations and Developer projects for residential and commercial developments.

Required Experience/Skills:
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience with Erosion & Sediment Control construction/inspection
  • Possession of the MDE Responsible Personnel Certification is required
  • Possession of SHA Yellow Card is required
  • Experience working as a Code Enforcement Inspector a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and contract specifications
  • Knowledge of inspection methods and techniques
  • Good verbal/writing communication skills and ability to work in a team environment with associates, contractors, developers and engineers
Responsibilities:
  • Performs pre-construction activities including review of site, attend pre-construction conferences, check construction stakeout, reviews contractor construction schedule
  • Monitor E&SC operations to ensure compliance with plans, contract terms, specifications, codes and ordinances
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project records including daily reports, diaries, materials notebooks, as-built plans, pay quantity records and monthly estimates

Salary Information
