275 Schoolhouse Rd, Cheshire, CT 06410, USA Req #762Thursday, April 18, 2024Position Overview:As the Staff Accountant you will be responsible for handling the accounting duties for the company owned entities and retail accounting customers.Responsibilities:Reviewing and preparing financial statements in a timely manner with accuracyMaintaining efficient and accurate operations for all phases of the accounting cycle including but not limited to payables, receivables, payroll, inventory, reporting etc.Preparing monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts and bank statementsAnalyzing and interpreting financial information such as balance sheets, cash flow and income statementsPreparing budgets and ad hoc analysis as neededIdentifying and implementing process improvementsDeveloping and maintaining sound internal controls and ensuring ongoing complianceAnswering inquiries from customers by analyzing and interpreting informationMaintaining professionalism and confidentiality practices regarding company informationPrioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously ensuring deadlines are met accordinglyBuilding and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholdersPerform other duties as assigned by leadershipWarehouse Office approx. 65F 70FSchedule:Monday FridayStandard Business HoursExperience:Preferred: One (1) Three (3) years experience in Accounting & knowledge of GAAPPreferred: Bachelors degree of Science in AccountingPreferred: Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace etcSkills:Physical abilities : Ability to stand, walk and sit throughout your day; Walking on a variety of flooring such as carpet, concrete, tile etc.Strong communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basisOrganizational Skills: Ability to fulfill executive directions in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesWorking in a team based environment: Working independently and as a team playerQuality: Maintain integrity and high standards from all perspectivesSafety Culture: Maintain and drive safety policies; driving for accountability of safe practicesthroughout shift275 Schoolhouse Rd, Cheshire, CT 06410, USA#J-18808-Ljbffr
