Registered Occupational Therapist - State of Michigan Michigan Driver's License Pediatric experience preferred Must have good organizational skills Must have good written and oral language ability Good interpersonal skills with children and adults Responsibilities: Interpret physician orders related to professional area of responsibility. Assess fine motor skills of students. Develop, implement, monitor and modify treatment plans based on physician orders and assessment of student as appropriate. Complete IEP, MET, Medicaid and treatment forms/reports. Maintain treatment/progress notes and Medicaid documentation per professional standards. Train Paraprofessionals on various student plans. Regular and predictable attendance. The employee must use keyboards, tools, and other controls. The employee must sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. The employee must have normal vision and hearing with or without aid. The employee must be able to move about the assigned work location during the day. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job:Work is performed primarily in a standard office and school environment with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions. At times, the employee may be directly responsible for the safety and well-being of students. The noise level in the work environment varies from soft to moderately loud.
