As a Linvilla Cashier you'll be responsible for cashiering, merchandising and stocking product, and cleaning to keep the everything looking its best. You'll enhance the customer shopping experience by working collaboratively with the Linvilla team and providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for weekday and weekend Pumpkinland cashiers to work through the Fall season with us.

Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service.
• Efficiently and accurately process customer purchases using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
• Assist with pricing and labeling of products as needed.
• Provide information and assistance to customers regarding garden center products, including plants, tools and merchandise
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to the store management team.
• Give feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, specials, and events happening in the garden center
• Comply with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk about the store.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays (weekends required)
• Minimum two years of retail experience preferred
• Minimum two years of cashier experience required
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Remain organized, give attention to detail, follow instructions and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner
• Available weekdays in the afternoon.

• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
