Radiology Technologist Job Details Location: San Angelo, Texas (76903) Healthcare Setting: Community Hospital Radiology Department Contract Type: Travel Radiology Technologist Start Date: December 22, 2025 (sooner preferred) End Date: March 23, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM), Friday – Sunday Hours per Week: 36 On-Call & Holiday Coverage: As needed Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1840-$1890 Radiology Technologist Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) Active ARRT (R) certification Current BLS certification Experience with healthcare charting systems Preferred: Trauma Level II experience and travel healthcare experience COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance Texas Radiology Technologist license in-hand required at submission Local candidates within 110 miles not accepted Radiology Technologist Responsibilities Perform a variety of radiologic procedures including X-ray, CT, MRI, Dexa, and diagnostic imaging Operate advanced radiology equipment: Carestream digital portables, Siemens Agile and Artis Zee digital fluoro suites, Shimadzu digital portable, Philips Zenition and GE OEC C-arms Utilize PACS (McKesson) for healthcare image management Deliver imaging services to patients of all ages: neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Conduct bedside/portable procedures and trauma imaging as needed Maintain strict adherence to isolation precautions and healthcare safety protocols Participate in on-call and holiday coverage as scheduled Ready to take the next step in your radiology career?
