Job Title: Caustic Tank Operator

Reports To: Team Leader, following the direction of Extrusion Manager

Shift/Hours: Nightshift/ 8:55 pm - 6:45 am

Salary: 20.35 per hour

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Caustic Tank Operator to join our team. As a Caustic Tank Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining caustic tanks and related equipment in order to ensure optimal production output. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of caustic tank operations, safety regulations, and quality control procedures. Responsibilities
  • Operate caustic tanks and related equipment according to established procedures and guidelines
  • Monitor tank levels, temperatures, pressure, and flow rates to ensure continuous operation
  • Conduct regular inspections of tanks and equipment to identify and address any potential issues or malfunctions
  • Adjust and control parameters such as temperature, flow rate, and chemical composition to achieve desired product quality
  • Sample and test caustic solutions to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards
  • Record and maintain accurate production data, including tank readings, testing results, and operational logs
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all employees
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a Caustic Tank Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of caustic tank operations, safety regulations, and quality control procedures
  • Ability to interpret and follow standard operating procedures and technical manuals
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
