IT FCPR Solution Architect Arden Hills, MN(Onsite)

Position Overview:

As an

IT FCPR (Finance, Compliance, Procurement, and Risk) Solution Architect , you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing IT solutions that support and enhance critical business functions within the areas of finance, compliance, procurement, and risk management. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure that the technology architecture aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive architecture for FCPR-related systems that is aligned with the organization's overall IT strategy. Create detailed solution designs that meet business requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing IT infrastructure. Project Leadership and Guidance:

Lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of technology solutions. Provide architectural expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring best practices and compliance standards are met. Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with business leaders and functional heads to understand their strategic goals and operational needs. Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions. Innovation and Improvement:

Evaluate emerging technologies and trends that can potentially enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of FCPR functions. Recommend innovations and improvements to existing systems and processes. Risk Management and Compliance:

Ensure that all proposed IT solutions comply with internal policies and external regulations relevant to finance, compliance, procurement, and risk. Work closely with the compliance and risk management teams to assess potential risks in IT solutions and devise mitigation strategies. Documentation and Reporting:

Develop high-quality documentation for architecture strategies, design decisions, and project plans. Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of IT initiatives within FCPR.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CISA, CISSP) is preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in an IT architecture role, with at least 4 years focused on finance, compliance, procurement, or risk management solutions. Proven track record of designing and implementing complex IT systems within large organizations. Deep understanding of ERP systems, Business Intelligence tools, compliance regulations (such as GDPR, SOX), risk management frameworks, and procurement processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of their respective security and compliance features. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Proficiency in data privacy and cybersecurity principles relevant to financial and operational data.
