We collaborate effectively across our business functions to achieve our collective goals to redefine the self-storage experience.We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team at Mini Mall Storage. The Business Analyst will play a critical role in extracting and analyzing data to provide actionable insights that drive operational efficiency, enhance collection processes, and support strategic decision-making. This position will work closely with the Regional Operations Manager and Regional Vice President to ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Collect and analyze data from various sources, including property management systems, financial reports, and customer databases.Perform data mining and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights for business strategies.Create reports, and presentations to communicate findings to key stakeholders.Collaborate with the Sr Leadership team to identify areas of opportunity for operational improvements and create action plans to achieve the resultsProvide insights into operational efficiencies, including cost reduction and revenue enhancement strategies.Analyze and monitor collection and accounts receivable processes, for the purpose of recommending improvements.Support the development and implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures.Work with senior management on strategic initiatives and projects, including market research and competitor analysis.Act as a liaison between the data team and regional management to ensure alignment and understanding of business needs and data capabilities.Train and support staff in the use of data tools and interpretation of data insights, providing regular updates to senior management.WHAT WILL YOU NEED?Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar analytical role, Experience in storage, property management or front line retail would be considered an asset.Proficient in data analysis tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in collecting, organizing, and disseminating information.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data insights clearly.Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with strong organizational skills.Knowledge of property management systems and software, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices for data security.Project management experience with a successful track record of project delivery.Experience in operations, administrative support, or similar analytical roles, preferably in real estate, retail, or storage industries.WHAT DO WE OFFER?
