To be qualified for this position, candidates must have proficient industry experience with PLC & HMI Programming technologies. You will work as a programmer within a team-oriented environment and focus on application development related to end customer manufacturing process control and visualization systems. Very limited ( Rockwell, Omron and Siemens design, programming, and troubleshooting proficiency. Additional experience with both ladder logic & structured text is preferred.

Rockwell, Ignition and Wonderware design, programming, and troubleshooting proficiency. Additional experience with Rockwell’s FactoryTalk Suite for a distributed HMI is preferred.

Plant floor networking with experience with DH+, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet & Serial.

CAD for electrical drawings, Microsoft Visio process flow diagrams, and Microsoft Project is desired.

Other manufacturing technologies such as barcoding, RFID, vision systems, laser etching, quality systems, etc. is desired.

Understanding of process control system is preferred.

FDA regulated manufacturing verticals such as food, beverage, and medical device is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language to effectively communicate with internal team members and customers

Must have excellent problem-solving skills to evaluate known sequence of operations and desired improvements to identify creative and effective solutions

Minimum 3 to 5 years of automation programming experience

Must have reliable transportation.

Required to be able to drive to customer locations or travel to customer locations as needed for customer on-site services.
