Overview Atlantic Ambulance is seeking a per diem Driver (CDL) to work varied shifts including weekends as required by department.

Responsibilities **Essential Job Function:**

* Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule and available for special deliveries and Holidays as needed by the department

* Demonstrates good customer service skills, and respect to all employees/customers, including handling grievances professionally.

* Must be in full Uniform including a visible ID badge, key peg and maintain a professional appearance Vehicles are to be cleaned inside and out daily, fueled after each shift, and all required equipment is in vehicle

* Oil and all fluid levels must be checked before the shift and Rig Check Sheets are to be completed and turned in daily

* Ability to lift 75 pounds

* Swipes in and out on time

* Completes tasks and assignments in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner

* Adheres to all Atlantic Health and Atlantic Ambulance Policy and Procedures

* Completes all required training and maintains all required certifications and licenses

* Contributes to a team environment

* Must attend at least 50% of all Transportation staff meetings

* work effectively and relate with others, including supervisors, colleagues, and internal and external customers. Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and maintain constructive working relationships.

Qualifications **Education:**

* High School Diploma or GED

**Requirements:**

* New Jersey CDL (Class B airbrakes)

* Clean driving record

* Complete random DOT required drug and alcohol testing as required.

* Current/Valid DOT physical

* 3+ years CDL driving experience preferred
