Billing Coordinator - Paid Parking & Hybrid

About the Company and Opportunity:

  • Our repeat client who is a powerhouse in the design industry
  • Due to growth, they are hiring an Billing Coordinatorin their Silver Spring, MD office.
  • Schedule: In office for training and then move to 2 days in office, 3 days remote. Paid parking
  • Pay: $28-30 per hour (depending on experience), Mon-Fri, 8:00a - 5:00p.
  • This position is temporary, but for the right candidate can become permanent

Overview of the Billing Coordinator role:

  • Manage the end-to-end billing process, including the preparation, review, and timely submission of invoices to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys, partners, and other billing team members to accurately record and document billable hours, expenses, and disbursements.
  • Ensure compliance with client-specific billing guidelines and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Review and analyze billing data to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Assist with client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service related to billing matters.
  • Monitor and track outstanding accounts receivable, proactively follow up on unpaid invoices, and assist in resolving billing disputes.
  • Generate regular reports and provide analysis on billing activity, trends, and key performance indicators to support decision-making processes.

Preferred Qualifications for the Billing Coordinator:

  • 5+ years of billing experience (non-medical)
  • Deltek Vision is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Extremely organized, able to multi-task effectively and attentive to detail
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to work independently
