The Department of Pulmonology, Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital, is seeking to add a full-time Pulmonologist to its teamJefferson Einstein has provided compassionate, high-quality healthcare to anyone in need since 1866. Join us; make a difference.The incoming physician will join a high-volume practice staffed by experienced pulmonologists and a robust support staff including Nurse Practitioners. Currently we have two office locations and the incoming physician would be going to both locations. Jefferson Einstein Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine provides comprehensive care and the most advanced treatments for your patients with conditions affecting the lungs and airways, backed by the latest research and clinical trials. Our physicians are experts in asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, interventional pulmonology, critical and intensive pulmonary care, sleep medicine, pulmonary hypertension management, pulmonary rehabilitation, interstitial lung disease treatments and more.In this role you will be responsible for:Managing the care of chronic respiratory diseases, such as asthma, emphysema, tuberculosis, lung cancers and many other disordersCoach patients on management of their illness, by making lifestyle changeBronchoscopyChronic lung disease treatment (COPD, asthma)Narcolepsy treatmentPneumonia vaccines and influenza vaccinationsPulmonary function testsRespiratory illnessesSleep apnea evaluation and treatmentThoracentesisVentilator managementParticipate in medical student, resident, and fellow education if interested.
